INJURY PREVENTION AND CARE IN ARTISTIC SPORTS

May 3, 2026

The authors of EXTREMESPORTMED have contributed to two chapters in this prestigious volume recently published, promoted by ESSKA and published by Springer.

In particular, the contributions include:

  • a chapter dedicated to snowboarding
  • a chapter dedicated to skydiving

These two disciplines, although profoundly different in terms of context and biomechanical dynamics, share a significant artistic and expressive component, which represents a distinctive feature of extreme sports and manifests in different ways within each discipline.
